A FASHION whizz has revealed the two things that instantly make you look cheap – so if you want to impress with your outfits, you’ll need to listen up.
Eloise Dalais claimed that wearing unironed clothing will instantly cheapen your style and neon clothes have got to go.
However, she did explain that simply ironing your shirts will make your outfit look much better and if you are desperate to wear neon, Eloise shared how you can incorporate it into your outfit, without it looking too tacky.
Posting on social media, Eloise claimed: “Things that make you look cheap.”
She said: “Things that make you look cheap, part five.
“The first thing we have is crinkled clothing.
“It can make an expensive piece of clothing look really cheap.
“When you compare to this one [ironed shirt], it looks more expensive and a bit more elevated and professional.”
Following this, Eloise shared her thoughts on neon clothes, as she continued: “Thething we have is neon clothing.
“Though this is probably a really high quality shirt, I think the colour can really make it look cheap.
“However, on the other hand, I think that neon shoes look really great with outfits.
“Especially when you have a really plain coloured outfit, neon high heels look really great.”
Eloise’s TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @ellabellaaa_, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 726,700 views.
But social media users were left divided at Eloise’s claims – while many agreed that unironed clothing is not a good look, many were eager to disagree that neon clothing makes you look cheap.
One person said: “Totally agree with unironed clothing.”
Another added: “I 100% agree with wrinkled clothes. It’s such a pet peeve of mine.”
At the same time, one user posted: “I love neon.”
Whilst a second claimed: “Idc idgaf, I’m wearing neon, thank you.”
Whilst someone else shared: “My boss wears neon clothes but it looks really expensive on her! She also looks so chic…”
